When to add a specialist beyond OB-GYN
Trying to conceive for more than 12 months (or 6 months if 35+) is the standard cutoff for a reproductive endocrinologist. Menopause symptoms that disrupt sleep or work deserve a clinician who prescribes hormone therapy comfortably — not every OB-GYN does.
